It's that time of the year again! Over the past year there have been some ups and downs (looking at you poison mechanics), but BA is fixed now which is cause for celebration!
This event will be hosted on May 13th, (Saturday) and will begin at 18:00 UTC with 4 Leech Races. Afterwards, we'll play some Castle Wars, one more event that is TBD, and Arthur's traditional (extremely difficult) Hide n' Seek! We'll close out the event with the usual drop party. Everyone is welcome to attend every event except the drop party, which will be for BAS ranks only.

Leech Races
18:00-19:00 UTC
Kicking it off will be leech races, which are exactly what they sound like. We will not be using customers for these races as it's far too complicated to organize with the extra variables. Instead teams will play with an alt, or extra player afking on the west cannon as the attacker role. Teams will be drafted with the traditional 'schoolyard rules' system (same as CBA races), except the third and final round of drafting will be the same order as the second.
For example with 5 teams:

For each of the 4 rounds, the winning team will receive 100m, and the race MVP (most wins) will also receive 100m (split among ties). If there are no players that win more than one race, this 100m will go to the team with the fastest overall time.
Dharok Fight Pits

Taking inspiration from the best Gielenor Games elimination round, we'll be duking it out in a massive free-for-all. The only allowed gear is a full set of dharoks, and the only allowed items are 1 super combat (divine or normal), either a rock cake or locator orb, and as many salmon as you can carry. Good luck. 50m prize to the winner.
Castle Wars

Castle Wars is probably the most iconic minigame in old school (outside of BA of course!), and it returns to the anniversary celebration this year. Gear up and hop in the guthix portal for the authentic anything-goes Castle Wars Experience. There will not be any prizes awarded, other than 3 tickets for the WINNERS (my team).
Hide n' Seek

Arthur has once again volunteered to confound and confuse us with his conniving and convoluted clues. Search far and wide across Gilenor to be the first to find him and claim a fabulous cash prize.

As usual, the final event will be a drop party funded by the remainder of your generous donations. We'll announce the winners of the birthday awards first, and then the drop party will take place in someone's POH, and as a reminder is the only event that will be for BAS ranks only. Good luck!
